Edmonton & District Quilters' Guild (EDQG)

Meals on Wheels looking for Cloth Masks

I am reaching out today because Meals on Wheels is looking for donated cloth masks for our staff and volunteers. Until recently, there was no recommendations for our industry to wear them. However, based on the recent recommendations of Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, Dr Theresa Tam, we feel that a mandate for masks may be coming.

We are looking to get 1000 cloth masks total. We recognize that this is a lot, therefore we are reaching out to several groups and businesses that produce or may be able to produce masks. Our urgent need is 150 masks, which will get us by until we can collect more.

Please let me know if you are able to help in any capacity! We would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks!

Sincerely,

Kristen Aspenes
