Congratulations to the 2019 Festival of Quilts Viewer’s Choice Winner, Cathy Tomm!

Cathy’s artist statement: This quilt has 324 blocks and 45 pieces of fabric per block. That is 14,580 pieces of fabric. I think I have done over 400 hours of work on it. I started in 2012, with one block, I had no idea if I would go big or go home.

Are on the third Wednesday of the month (Sept. to Nov and Jan. to May) at the Alberta Teacher's Association, (11010 - 142 Street NW).
