The countdown to our Quilt Show has officially begun. We are now getting into the nitty gritty of the planning and details. I would like to tell you a little bit about the website and where to find information about the quilt show.
As details are finalized or when new information becomes available, it will be put under this FESTIVAL OF QUILTS tab. Some of the information coming in the future will include Quilt Show Rules, Definitions, How to Enter Your Quilt, How to Do an Artists Statement, How to Make a Hanging Sleeve and When and Where to Drop off Your Quilt for the Quilt Show. When these items are first uploaded, you will also be able to find the link to this information in the RECENTLY POSTED column on the right side of the home page of the website. If you can’t find something, please feel free to contact anyone on the quilt show committee or a fellow guild member and ask for help. We will be posting the Rules and Definitions after the next Quilt Show Committee meeting on November 14th.
Nominations for the Featured Quilter for 2023 have now closed. Stay tuned for the announcement of our winner at the November guild meeting! Who could it be?????
The Quilt Show Committee has been running 50/50 draws to raise money to offset the cost of renting the space for the quilt show. Sales for the current draw will close on TUESDAY, November 15th so get your tickets now if you want a chance to win! Thanks to everyone for your support of our fundraising initiative. Tickets can be purchased from our website. This information will then be put on the website for easy access.
