Library Update – June 2023
Thank you to all the members who supported our quilt book sale at the May meeting! We sure had a lot of books on offer! Thank you to all the donors of books. We check all the donations to see if we can use them in the library collection, if they are duplicates, or published before 2000, we offer them for sale at the book sale at a nominal fee. The money raised will buy new books for the library. We raised $132.00 for new books. I have been checking out the new C&T Publishing site for new books.
For our last raffle of the season at the May meeting, we offered two lovely books that came from our book donations. We raised $148.00 from the raffle for new books.
Sunday Morning Quilts: 16 Modern Scrap Projects: Sort, Store, and Use Every Last Bit of Your Treasured Fabrics, by Amanda Jean Nyberg and Cheryl Arkison. Won by Sandra H, ticket #412045.
Quilt with Tula and Angela: A Start-to-Finish Guide to Piecing and Quilting Using Color and Shape: 17 Quilt Patterns and 47 Quilting Motifs, by Tula Pink and Angela Walters. Won by Gerry L., ticket#412078.
