Jean Impey
“Cre-a-tiv-i-ty
and has Someone Stolen Yours”
This lecture provides motivation and a new confidence thatyou didn’t know you had. It also gives you the newest tools and technology to make quilts and make your work both quicker and better.
You will want to take notes because this lecture provides motivation and a new confidence that you didn’t know you had. You will be shocked to
see how much you learn! I promise.
If you feel that you will never be an art quilter (because you can’t draw…I’ll solve that problem), who knows where you will go once you get over this.
Art has been an integral part of my life since I was a child. I remember always being intrigued and absorbed with making things. My mother encouraged my exploration of all things creative and my life-long creative journey took off including painting, sewing, photography, ceramics, embroidery, and gardening, just to name a few.
My style, my passion, my energy is boundless…I love discovering. I love looking. I love seeing. I love the way others see and I love doing!
I don’t worry about doing it wrong…There is no such thing in the creative process. I like how Albert Einstein Said, “The easiest way to be creative: try something different, even if you don’t think it will work.”
I look forward to sharing my story, work and passion with you.
Our program committee is putting together a workshop with Jean called “Liberated Baskets” to be held via zoom on January 13 and 27, 2024.
