For our April meeting we are bringing library book bin #14 from the storage locker, with titles starting with letters T-Z.  That means in the two years since we have returned to in-person meetings, we have cycled through our entire book collection.  In September we will start again with the titles starting with A.

Books can also be picked up or returned at Trapunto Quilt store, or at the Community Service days at the FFAA site.

For April our raffle books are:

• Stitched Photo Mosaic Quilting: A Unique Grid Technique for Piecing Images into Beautiful Quilts, by Timna Tarr, Landauer Publishing, 2022.  Timna was our featured speaker at our October 2024 meeting.  She makes amazing contemporary quilts from photographs, focusing on the use of color and placement in her portrait quilts.
• Tumbler Quilts: Just One Shape, Endless Possibilities, Play with Color & Design, by Valerie Prideaux, C&T Publishing, 2023.  This is another book that lets you play with colour and design, using just one block, the Tumbler block.

The winners of our March raffle books were:

Urban Quilting: Quilt Patterns for the Modern-Day Home, won by Cheryl M., pink ticket #912182.

Two-of-a-Kind Quilts: 12 Scrappy Designs That are Double the Fun, won by Sylvia C., green ticket #413015. 

The March raffle raised $139.00 to purchase raffle books and new books for the library.  Thank you for your support.
