Paula Rafferty

It has been six years since Paula last visited Edmonton, and she has returned with a presentation brimming with her adventures and quilting projects from this period. From diving into the world of AI to rediscovering the joys of hand-sewn creations, Paula will take us on a journey through her experiences. Paula is an internationally acclaimed art quilt exhibitor, teacher, pattern designer, exhibition curator, certified quilt judge, and tutor. Paula hails from Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland. A graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design, Paula’s diverse journey led her from the circus and dance costumes to teaching at Limerick Prison for the last 26 years. Her quilts have adorned international magazines, been juried into international exhibitions, and purchased by collectors.
