Community Service Update – November 2024

Thank you to everyone for the donation of baby/crib blankets for the Terra Centre. They are having their Christmas Party on November 28th when they will distribute the much-welcome hampers.
A member has asked for quilts for the Yellowhead Youth Centre. We had 2 that met the size requirements of 70’ x 90” to add to the one made by the member.
The Community Service Committee will collect items for the Hope Mission Centre at the November meeting. Your donations will be much appreciated.
May quilting bring you Peace as you face the fun but hectic holiday season ahead!
We will continue to meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Focus on Fibre Arts Association (FFAA) Studio at 10554 – 110 Street NW.
Use the back door.

GUILD MEETINGS
Are on the third Wednesday of the month (Sept. to Nov and Jan. to May) at the Alberta Teacher’s Association, (11010 – 142 Street NW).
Presently, the Guild is holding “hybrid” meetings (In-person and via Zoom)
Guests are very welcome at our meetings.
