The guild participates in a variety of Community service quilting projects throughout the year and works with other like-minded organizations to provide quilts to those in need.
To this end, and where fabric and other equipment is stored, they meet at the Focus on Fibre Art Studio on the second Tuesday of the month.
Thank you from the Hope Mission for the 3 bins of items EDQG members donated. The person receiving our donation said unfortunately the need is so great our items will be used up in one day. The donation centre is located at 7011 Girard Road NW (off Argyll). Mon–Fri 9-4.
Pregnancy Pathways is a charity recommended by an EDQG member. They provide housing and prenatal care to homeless women and continue housing post delivery. They receive hampers from Basically Babies but could use double size quilts for the mothers and twin size for the older siblings.
