Don is one half of the Dolyn Enterprises duo.  Lynn runs Prairie Points Quilt Shop, on their beautiful rural property, while Don does the amazing handmade wooden quilter’s aids for the shop.  From Clappers to Thread Stands, Stitcher’s Caddies to Magnetic Pin holders, his artistic pieces are featured throughout the quilt shop.

He even makes oversized articulating scissors and huge thread spools with needles.  There is a sense of fun and whimsy in many of his creations.  His attention to detail is an understatement when it comes to his handmade wooden items. Whether he is repurposing wood or wine corks or using select hardwoods, you can see and feel the love in each of his finely handcrafted pieces. Even his custom blend of food grade finishing wax is crafted from the bee’s wax collected from their own hives, situated on their property. 

Although Lynn no longer attends trade or quilt shows, Don is happy to share his Handmade Wooden Items at them.  He will even do Pop Ups at Quilt Retreats if asked and if he is available.
