Library Update – June 2025

Author: Sandra P.,
Library Chair

May was a busy month for the library.

All borrowed books were returned, to be counted in the inventory to be held in the summer.

We held our last book raffle of the season. With your support we raised $202.00 to purchase new books. I have already been out shopping!

Lastly, we had our annual quilt book sale from all the books donated this year, plus older library books that had been discarded. We raised $131.45 to purchase new books. The books that were not sold at the meeting will go to the Edmonton Public Library for their used book sale Books2Buy.

Again, thank you for your support, and we will see you in the Fall!

“Sewing is a way to mark our existence on cloth: patterning our place in the world, voicing our identity, sharing something of ourselves with others,  and leaving the indelible evidence of our presence in stitches held fast by our touch.”
