In June 2024, guild member (and Community Service Chair) Judi Coté received the EDQG Expanding Horizons Grant to assist her in taking Karlee Porter’s Graffiti Quilting Master Class (karleeporter.com). This course had been on Judi’s bucket list since she first heard Karlee speak at Sparrow Studio 11 years ago. Judi will describe what led to her interest in Karlee’s free motion quilting techniques and her experience with the online course.  

Judi’s presentation will include what she learned and she will introduce us to Karlee Porter, describing what this fun, ambitious young woman adds to the quilting world.
