Anton Pieck Sampler Quilt Project
At the November meeting, Kim C. announced that Jeltje van Essen donated to the guild, a full kit of her Anton Pieck Sampler Quilt, as well as 3 sets of the 10 image panels.
The sampler quilt has 10 image panels, assembled with patchwork and a pieced border. Each panel is embellished with Inktense pencil crayons and hand embroidery.
The completed project will be used as a fundraiser for the guild. Once the project is complete the remaining panels will be offered to any interested guild members through a draw.
We are looking for volunteers to work on this sampler. Kim C. and Kathy S. have volunteered to coordinate the volunteers, provide instructions on how to use the Inktense pencil crayons and a tutorial on the embroidery stitching.
