Pearl Sceviour, an EDQG member, started quilting in Calgary in 1995 but it became a more serious pastime once she retired.  Through joining a local guild in 2009, she was introduced to many quilting techniques, but found her passion in the peacefulness of hand applique and the creativity of bringing photos into quilts.  Pearl enjoys participating in quilting workshops, believing that there may be a new, exciting journey just around the corner!

Pearl has discovered that each quilt you make can teach you something.  As a believer in continual learning, Pearl will explore with us the myriad of learnings about techniques, herself, and even “I’m never doing that again”!
