For those who don’t know me, I’m Kim Caskey, an Edmonton-based quilt artist, educator, professional longarm quilter and international Quilt & Textile Tour host. I have been organizing and hosting Quilt & Textile Tours since 2013, taking Canadian travellers on creative adventures throughout Canada and around the world.

This time, we’re keeping the adventure much closer to home!

This little getaway is designed so you can simply get on the bus and enjoy. No highway driving, no Calgary traffic, no searching for parking — and no designated driver required!

Our two days include comfortable coach transportation, two full days at Quilt Canada 2027, overnight accommodation in Calgary, group dinners, secure parking at our departure points, and all gratuities.

And, of course, there’s one other important ingredient:

A bus full of quilters!

Guild members are very welcome to register individually — you do not need to organize a group from your guild to participate.

Space on the coach is limited, and with pick-up locations in Edmonton, Leduc and Red Deer, I’m hoping to bring together quilters from communities throughout Central Alberta for a wonderful couple of days in Calgary.
