Community Service Update – October 2026

Author: Judi C., Chair Community Service

We are collecting baby/ crib size/toddler quilts for Terra Centre for their Christmas hampers. Quilts must be in by mid- November and can be dropped off at the Community Service Sew days at the FFAA Studio or a pick-up can be arranged with Community Service Committee members.

Blankets of Love is collecting quilts, lap size/twin size for distribution on Christmas day.

We will not be able to collect winter socks, mitts and other items for Hope Missions this year since we are not meeting in person but I encourage everyone to donate as you can in your smaller quilting groups or directly to the Mission.

We have a large collection of donated fabric for members to use for any charity they choose.

We will continue to meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Focus on Fibre Arts Association (FFAA) Studio at 10554 – 110 Street NW.
