Featured Quilter Nomination
Deadline for nominations is midnight Wednesday, December 2, 2026.
EDQG Quilt Festival 2027
Nominations Open!
As we plan for our Edmonton Quilt Festival 2027, it’s time to select our Featured Quilter!
We invite Guild members to nominate someone they feel would be a wonderful choice for this special recognition. Nominations should recognize a member’s talent, creativity and contributions to our quilting community.
A few details about the process:
- Members are invited to submit nominations.
- Anyone nominated must be made aware of their nomination and agree to be considered.
- The selection committee will review all nominations and make the final selection of our 2027 Featured Quilter.
Being selected as Featured Quilter is a special honour and an opportunity to showcase one’s quilting journey and accomplishments. The Featured Quilter will be provided with a dedicated space at the quilt show to display a selection of their work.
We look forward to celebrating one of our own and encourage everyone to participate by submitting a nomination. Deadline for nominations is midnight Wednesday, December 2, 2026.
As part of this recognition, the Featured Quilter will be expected to be present for set up on June 3, and both days of the show (June 4 & 5) to meet and interact with guests and attendees, sharing their work and quilting experiences.
