Challenges of Organizing and Executing Successful Block Exchanges

Our April presenter, Patricia Scott, can be described as a frenetic quilter. Her UFO list is impressive, as is what she has accomplished in her 35+ years of quilting. Generational influences from her grandmother and mother have shaped her passion for fabric. Patricia’s love of colour is also evident in many of her finished quilts.

Patricia has participated in many challenges, particularly while she was living in the USA. Her quilts have been published in several books and have travelled across Canada as well as to Taiwan. She has also led several block exchanges, the most recent of which included 12 Canadian and 12 American quilters!

Patricia’s presentation will include a discussion of the challenges of organizing and executing block exchanges, setting the group up for success and some of the amazing results when participants put their blocks together.
