Library Update – September 2026

Welcome back to a new guild season!  For those new to the guild, our guild library is one of the benefits of guild membership.  We have over 700 books on quilt related topics.  The books are stored in our guild storage locker. 

The EDQG website has a library section where you can view our entire collection and make requests for books of interest to you.

Over the summer I completed an updated book list and sent it on to our webmaster Charlene T. who compiles the information and enters the book information with a photo onto the website.  Thank you Charlene!

Over the years the library committee has held a book raffle at our meetings to raise money to purchase new books for the library.  In consultation with the committee and then the EDQG Board, we have decided that our library collection is very healthy with over 700 books, with close to 100 books added last year, so we do not need to hold a raffle this year.  We have some money remaining from our book raffles from last season and our book sale, so we can still purchase books we feel are important to the collection.
