New Meeting Event!

"Cookie Exchange"

Let us introduce you to our COOKIE EXCHANGE!

Our definition of a cookie is this: a 6 ½” block made of wee bits of fabric (aka CRUMBS!), all in the same color way. (Example photos attached). We will exchange blocks before the meeting starts with anyone who is willing. Colours will be assigned for each month.

This is all about scrap management and reducing waste – let’s make some scrappy quilts using “cookies” (there are many setting ideas on Pinterest).  By exchanging with others, we can increase the scrappiness factor!

Just a note, if you can’t make the meeting and want to participate, please enlist a friend to help you. The committee will not be able to make exchanges on your behalf!

Past Month’s Colours:

September: Yellow or Orange

Show and tell presentation

There are two options for Show & Tell

  • Send photos of your creations by the Sunday prior to the meeting to be included in the monthly presentation. (email above)

  • Live presentation at the monthly meeting.

Since many of the community quilts are donated before the meeting they will be presented through the Zoom powerpoint.
