Category Ribbon Winners

Our judges, Joyce Brown and Carole Gold, have chosen our winning quilts for this show.  We had quilts submitted into 19 categories.

Our judges also selected their favorite quilt, for 2 Judge’s Choice ribbons.

Attendees of the Quilt Festival voted for their favorite quilt of the show.  The quilt with the most votes wins the “Viewer’s Choice” Ribbon.

Prairie Rose Quilt Show

Topic: Au Naturel

A quilt show inside the quilt show!  Each year, the past chair presents a challenge to the EDQG members. Those who participate have an opportunity to interpret the topic challenge, vie for one of several glorious ribbons, and share their spectacular creations with everyone at the festival.

Tickets were purchased at the Festival or from Edmonton Quilt Guild members. The draw occured on September 17, 2025

Central Sewing has been working with the Saint Vincent DePaul society (North of 60 ) for many years. We welcome any donation of domestic sewing machines, and we will service them and have them ready for the container that goes up north. We would be happy to receive machines that are no longer being used, as long as they’re not in tables.

GUILD MEETINGS

Are on the third Wednesday of the month (Sept. to Nov and Jan. to May) at the Alberta Teacher’s Association, (11010 – 142 Street NW).

Presently, the Guild is holding “hybrid” meetings (In-person and via Zoom)
